The Prattville YMCA needed to let the community and Y members know that it would begin offering spin classes on Feb. 18, 2019. The Y also wanted to advertise a chance for people to secure a spot in one of the first classes by entering a drawing.
I wrote a script announcing the new spin classes and the drawing, including the how, where, and when to enter. I wrote about the deep benefits of taking spin classes, keeping the needs and desires of the Y’s target audience in mind.
The fun, conversational video helped create a lot of buzz about the classes on Facebook: 90 reactions, 42 comments, and 4.3K views. The classes also filled to capacity soon after their start date.
